– Notes: Vietnamese traditional handmade fired clay tiles are entirely crafted by hand, resulting in a 5% size variance. The clay tiles may have minor chips, slight curves, and the fired color will be based on the sample color tone (which doesn’t mean that the darkest brick must be as dark as the sample and the lightest brick must be as light as the sample). The color is highly variable due to the uneven heat distribution in the kiln. Areas with high heat and strong flames might produce darker colors, while areas with lower heat and less intense flames might result in lighter colors. Some tiles may have significantly different colors. Areas with more oxygen flow may have richer colors compared to areas with less oxygen. This is a characteristic of the firing process, and no kiln master can control it 100%.

Please note that if customers place additional orders after their initial order, there may be slight differences between the subsequent batches compared to the previous one. It’s impossible to achieve a 100% match. Each batch of 1000 tiles will have unique glaze patterns. This is the characteristic of handmade ceramics, and the high value of these products partly lies in this firing variability.
